The week on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah commenced with the scare and blessings that came on Gokuldham society during Ganeshotsav. The society's secretary Bhide was still dealing with everything that Vicky Khurana did, still wondering how to get out of the situation within hours. They had arranged the programme to distribute Rs. 21 lakhs worth of cheque to children in the evening, but had no idea about how to get that kind of money after Vicky put a stop payment on the cheque he had intentionally donated to shame Gokuldham society.
Gokuldham society member receive lottery to fund childrens’ education, Ganeshotsav ends on a good note
On Bapuji's advice, Bhide informs the children that they do not have money to fund the childrens' education this year. Just then, Tapu sena got the news of a blessing that came upon Gokuldham during the same festival. A man donated a lottery ticket worth Rs. 30 lakhs just because his son got a job. This lottery ticket would give the Gokuldham society members the exact amount they needed to fund the childrens' education - Rs. 22 lakhs after the tax deduction. Eventually, even Vicky apologizes to all for his behaviour and Bapuji settles the matter.
Jethalal worried as customers do not come to his store
The focus of the story then shifts to Jethalal's store. No customer has been visiting their shop, thus leaving Jethalal stressed, who has in turn left Bagha and Natu kaka in stress. Natu kaka, who has just returned from his village, is now planning a scheme to attract customers to their store during Navratri.
Jethalal beats Bagha to a pulp when Bawri decides to enter the store as a ‘celebrity’
Just as they think of schemes, Bagha receives a surprise text. It is that a big celebrity would be entering the store. The thought of banking on the celebrity for promotions leaves everyone excited. However, all of the excitement fizzles out once it is revealed who the celebrity really is. Bagha's lover Bawri planned the whole scenario after Bagha lovingly called her a celebrity once. However, for the same reason, Bagha got a good beating from Jethalal. Thus, they are all back to square one, deciding on schemes to attract customers to the store but not coming up with one. Nonetheless, the excitement for Navratri is already built up, and with it, there's a hint of new Sonu entering the show.
