Jethalal found out that his client Dunkiwala was actually buying the old fridges. This happened after he bought Bhide’s fridge. With it, Jethalal looks at more fridges and is currently stuck with 35 fridges. Here’s the weekly recap on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (available for streaming on SonyLIV via OTTplay Premium)…
Bhide’s fridge sold out despite its condition
Bagha is seen carrying Bhide's fridge to the store. This is with the help of Babu Chipke. Jethalal is surprised to see Babu, but he is now into bhangaar business too. This is after a client named Dunkiwala came looking for the specific brand of fridge which Bhide was anyway throwing out. Dunkiwala offered good price for the fridge, and thus, Jethalal did not find a reason to turn the deal down.
Babita along with Mahila Mandal came to Jethalal's store thinking he has an exchange scheme going on. This happens after Jethalal takes Bhide's fridge and gives him a new one in exchange. Thus, Babita, Komal, Sodhi and even Popatlal come for exchanging oven, mixer and washing machine. However, Jethalal could not help since there is no such scheme going on in his store.
Jethalal reaches out for more fridges, finds 35 thanks to ads
Jethalal, determined to help Dunkiwala find the fridges, looks towards newspaper ads and social media for help. While he wanted newspaper, Bagha reached out through social media and the post went viral soon after.
Owing to that, Jethalal finds a businessman who is ready to sell 35 fridges in exchange of new fridges. Jethalal even opened the free scheme, since he was making profit anyway. He further promised Bagha and Natu kaka of raise in their salaries.
Dunkiwala’s emergency leaves Jethalal stuck with the 35 fridges
Unfortunately, though, Dunkiwala's brother got a heart attack. Thus, he had to rush to the hospital before completing the deal. Jethalal in fact pushed him out.
However, the trouble was that the store was occupied with 35 fridges for a whole day. This caused Bagha trouble in serving the customers.
The same night though, Jethalal got permission from Gokuldham society's Purush mandali about keeping the fridges in the society. He also took their help to get the fridges out of the truck into the society compound.
