Jethalal and milk were at war in the most recent episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Jethalal, who is already under Bapuji’s scanner for staying unhealthy, got another reason to be stressed. While there is a strike among milkmen, Jethalal has no milk to spare. Here’s what happened next on last night’s episode of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah (available for streaming on SonyLIV via OTTplay Premium)…

Bapuji irked at Jethalal

Jethalal greets Bapuji in the morning and questions him about getting late from his walk in the park. Bapuji claims it is because he and his friends started gossiping. When Bapuji asked Jethalal to join him for a walk, Jethiya found the excuse of what he would gossip with Bapuji and his friends.

Jethalal tries to end the matter by stating that he would join Bapuji someday, only to get a scolding as he heads out. Bapuji reminds Jethalal that he is not invited to greet Happy New Year (which happens once a year), but to make walks a regular practice. Jethalal walks out again by stating that he needs to pray to the Sun God before starting his day.

Jethalal tells Bapuji he would prepare tea, making Bapuji question his son's intentions. Jethiya keeps getting a scolding from Bapuji for the behaviour.

Jethalal and Bhide’s fun exchange of words

Jethalal then greets Bhide, who tease each other. Just as Bhide informs Jethalal that today, instead of good thoughts, the secretary would give news of the day. This makes Jethalal wonder if Bhide has turned a journalist too. Bhide is about to write stale news - that milkmen are on strike for the day. Bhide invites Jethalal and Bapuji to his house for tea in case they forgot about the strike.

Jethalal has the milk, since he has to prepare tea for Bapuji if he wishes to have a good day (since Bapuji would be irritated all day long). With that, they greet each other goodbye.

Jethalal has no way of receiving milk

Back at home, Jethalal realizes that the milk vessel is outside since last night. While he hopes that the milk would not be spoiled, obviously it is. This also happens because of Jethalal himself, who forgot to keep the vessel in the fridge despite Bapuji's warning last night.

And his woes do not end there. None of the Gokuldham society members have milk either. While Bhide's milk is also spoiled, the Sodhis, Hathi family as well as Popatlal do not have any milk to spare. Iyer, in fact, is at the receiving end of Jethalal's frustration because he spilled the milk, literally.
