Taarak Mehta takes his boss and Varun to ‘Bade Guruji’

Taarak Mehta comes to the boss and Varun smiling. The boss is anxious and asks Mehta, who goofs up by stating that both (the Bade Guruji aka Bapuji and Popatlal) are ready. On the boss' questioning, Mehta states that Bade Guruji and his blessings are ready. An excited Taarak takes them all along with Anjali.

Tapu forgot to take out the nameplate which states Jethalal Champaklal Gada, a name that Varun is familiar with. Owing to that, he and Mehta come up with a plan for the meeting to go smoothly. Taarak announces the arrival at the doorstep itself, post which Popatlal and Bapuji start their discussion.

Popatlal takes Bapuji's blessings before they commence the task. The boss, first anxious, later tells Taarak he likes it when the employee treats his boss as special. Anjali is left tensed.

Taarak Mehta’s boss vs Tapu sena

The boss is left surprised on seeing the children aka Tapu sena. Varun gets anxious that they will have to wait for the kids to meet Bade Guruji first. That is when Gogi goofs up by first stating that they are like family and later talking about Varun getting late to catch his flight. Tapu makes up for it by stating that Mehta spoke about it, while requesting the boss and Varun's appointment first.

Sonu asks why the boss and Varun do not have gifts for Bade Guruji, leaving the rest of the Tapu sena members stressed. Sonu cites the example of bringing chocolates, only to explain that it is because she is starting chocolates business soon. Gogi brings fruits for Bade Guruji.

Popatlal hides as Taarak Mehta’s boss meets Bapuji as Bade Guruji

The boss wishes to leave and bring fruits for Bade Guruji. Thus, he asks Varun to stay back and meet Bade Guruji. Mehta, however, stops him from doing so and Varun agrees by stating that they are running late.

The boss wants Varun to meet Bade Guruji first, and Taarak stops him stating that since the boss has met Bade Guruji already, it would be best if they meet again first. The boss agrees by stating that Bade Guruji would get comfortable once he meets the boss instead of Varun first. Mehta suggests the boss to talk about Varun, and taking one banana, the boss leaves to meet Bade Guruji. The boss meets Bapuji in the role of Bade Guruji and cannot control his happiness on seeing him.
