Taarak Mehta got in trouble with his boss again, this time over Bade Guruji, who his boss believes is Bapuji. Mehta is in big trouble, since his boss wants to meet Bade Guruji but Bapuji has refused to lie to anybody again, come what may. Taarak Mehta in demand when he gets late for office
Bhide gets emotional as Taarak Mehta ignores him. Bhide is upset that Mehta didn't see the good morning message or greet him back. He stops Mehta, followed by Sodhi doing that. Sodhi even offers a ride but asks Mehta to wait for 15 minutes which he cannot. This is followed by Bapuji giving him gyaan before leaving.
Taarak Mehta in trouble since his boss wants to meet ‘Bade Guruji’
Finally Taarak reaches office and meets his boss, who complains about Mehta being 2.5 minutes late and thus, having his salary cut. Taarak then gets to know that the boss is leaving for Delhi soon.
The boss talks about (Bapuji, pretending to be) Bade Guruji being in Haridwar. He then asks Taarak for the full address where Bade Guruji is. The boss wants to meet Bade Guruji for good luck. That is when Mehta says that Bade Guruji will be in Mumbai soon. The boss wants to meet Bade Guruji in Mumbai itself. Somehow Taarak convinces the boss that he cannot meet Bade Guruji this time.
Taarak Mehta involves Jethalal and Anjali in the news
Taarak finds peace in office and calls up Jethalal instantly to inform him of the situation. The focus then shifts to Jethalal in the shop with Bagha and Natu kaka revealing the bet about Jethiya not drinking coconut water.
Taarak, on the other hand, wants to surprise Anjali but he has to confirm with the boss first. The suspicious boss understands the situation instantly but Mehta handles the situation. Knowing that the boss is on his way to Delhi, Mehta is also ready to take Anjali out for shopping.
