The Navratri celebrations were just getting back on point in Gokuldham society, when Danav showed his colours again. He did that by stealing the light in Gokuldham society. Although the members could manage to decorate their society, Danav did not let them celebrate Navratri in peace. He was responsible for power cut inside the society. Gokuldham society members get together for Navratri decoration work
Tapu sena help out with the decoration work, and so do all the society members. Bhide, Bagha and Taarak Mehta were spotted helping out.

Danav's worker informs him about Navratri decorations almost up in Gokuldham society, to which Danav states that the members can decorate as much as they like, but they will not be able to celebrate the festival. That is when the members, who were praying to the Goddess, faced a power cut. Suddenly, the lights went off in the middle of the celebrations, leaving them with just the diya lights.
What is Danav's problem with Gokuldham society?
Danav is furious with Gokuldham society members because they gave him the contract to work on Navratri decorations but took it back when they got to know about him physically abusing his wife Gulab. Danav took it as a challenge and did not let any other contractor work on the project. Even when Popatlal got his rival Raka Tabla on board, Danav did everything in his power to stop Tabla from working in the society. After seeing them turn violent, Bapuji threw both of them out of the society and eventually gave the idea to sort the decorations out themselves. Danav, on the other hand, was ensuring that the Gokuldham society members come to him with folded hands so he can do the Navratri decoration work. Since the Mahila Mandal involved the police in Gulab's matter, revenge is on Danav's mind, owing to which he has troubled the members with electricity power cut.
