Chalu Pandey has to learn garba thanks to wife Basundi, but he is in no mood to. His colleague does and thus, all the cops do garba practice together while the criminals enjoy.
That is when the Mahila Mandal enter the police station. Chalu Pandey wonders what happened that the men did not come to the station. Seeing Popatlal, Pandey taunts him and is frustrated about having to take another complaint.
Mahila Mandal bring Danav and Gulab’s case to Chalu Pandey
Pandey thinks the Mahila Mandal are in an abusive relationship. They then confirm what happened with Danav and his wife Gulab.
Chalu Pandey wonders if the Mahila Mandal are lying to not get Danav to work in their society. Thus, he wishes to hear Danav's side too. Pandey wants to hear both Danav and Gulab's story too.
Gulab refuses to file FIR against abusive husband Danav
Once in the police station, Danav understands the situation and thus, tries to manipulate the situation. Pandey asks Danav to stand in a corner and Gulab wishes to go back home. Obviously, Danav seconds the statement by stating that she's scared of police station.
Pandey asks Gulab about the scar on her forehead. The Gokuldham society members encourage her to speak the truth, while Danav warns her with his eyes. Gulab retracts her statement thanks to her fear of Danav.
Gulab keeps lying by stating that she fell and hurt her head, and the cat scratched her. Gulab turns her back against the society members. Pandey also has to side by Gulab.
Chalu Pandey leaves Danav with a strict warning
Danav also manipulates the situation as per his convenience, putting the blame on Gokuldham society members. He then warns Pandey that 800 men would gather in the police station if they get to know what is happening. Pandey counter-warns Danav to become 'manav.'
Danav refuses to work for Gokuldham society, and Pandey knows about Danav's abuse on Gulab but cannot help her out. Pandey leaves Danav with a strict warning and pity for Gulab.
