Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations have begun in Gokuldham society. The society has lit up, and the curtains are almost up! Seeing so, the Gokuldham society men cannot keep calm and want to find out everything from the word go. Jethalal, Sodhi, Bhide, Popatlal, Dr. Hathi, Taarak Mehta and Iyer are all curious about what the celebrations this year will be like, and with that, they leave us curious too. Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations almost commence in Gokuldham society
The Gokuldham society men discuss what might be the theme this time around, since the women have contributed to the decoration for Bappa. Dr. Hathi raises the question, and Iyer is certain the decoration will be "different." On hearing his comment, Bhide and Popatlal look at each other with dead eyes. Sodhi is scared that things don't get messed up since many people will visit their Ganpati mandal. Jethalal is curious to find out what the decoration will be, and Popatlal interrogates Bhide over his job of protecting the jewellery for Lord Ganesha.
Sodhi jokes about messing up with the jewellery
As Bhide talks about handing over the responsibility to Sodhi, the latter questions the teacher. Bhide then informs Sodhi that the bag of pickles and papad also had jewellery. Sodhi, not knowing so, gave it the bag to his fellow garage member, Happy. Sodhi thought that Happy likes Madhavi's achaar papad, so he gave it to him and left from the garage. After giving everybody a scare, Sodhi cleared that he has the bag and was joking about giving the bag to Happy.
No man has a clue from his wife
Popatlal wonders how to find out the decoration for Ganpati Bappa mandal. Jethalal questions Taarak Mehta if he has a hint via Anjali bhabhi. He tried to find out but was blackmailed with drinking bitter gourd juice for 11 days. Bhide also did not get any hints from Madhavi. While recreating the answer Madhavi gave him, Bhide screams into Popatlal's ears.
Sodhi took it a step further and helped with all household chores. Dr. Hathi tried to check Komal's pulse, but she did not let him.
Who will go and find out about the decoration early on?
Taarak talks about his boss and praising the Gokuldham society Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in front of him. That is when Jethalal states he did the same, which is why they should check the decoration to cross-check if everything is alright and have time till morning to correct things if needed.
When Sodhi encourages the idea and asks everyone to go, Bhide asks Jethalal to do that. He does so because Daya ben is not in the society, while everybody else's wives are there around them.
Jetahlal questions Bhide about why not talk to Popatlal, who doesn't have a wife yet. He then states Popatlal does great job at 'stink operation (sting operation).' He even talks about Bhide's 'poaching class' following that. Dr. Hathi then asks Popatlal to head over, but the journalist refuses to do that, stating the women would be upset with him if they get to know what he has done, and would not search for his marriage partner. Iyer joins Bhide in asking Jethalal to head over. Everybody pursues him, and Jethalal objects to it too, asking everyone to join him.
