Taarak Mehta expects Varun earlier than expected for Bade Guruji

Taarak Mehta gets a call from the boss while Anjali gives him a neck massage. Mehta is worried that the boss might arrive earlier than expected.

The boss informs Mehta that there's an issue, and the latter suggests to cancel the meeting with Bade Guruji. The boss asks Mehta to speak good words.

On Taarak inquiring the matter, the boss informs that Varun, who is the client's son that wishes to meet Bade Guruji for blessings, is already on his way and is likely to reach Mehta house before 11 am. The plan was changed, since initially, the boss and Varun were supposed to meet Bade Guruji together. However, Taarak assumed that Varun couldn't make it altogether and thus, he hoped to cancel the meeting with Bade Guruji. Owing to that, he even got a scolding from the boss.

The boss asks Mehta to keep Varun away from Bhide since the 'ekmeva secretary' bores everyone. On hearing so, Taarak says in gibberish that he hopes that Varun runs away. Not just Bhide, the boss warns Mehta to keep Varun away from 'bachelor' journalist Popatlal as well.

Varun has a flight to catch and thus, he will not be able to stay back for Bade Guruji. This is one of the reasons for Taarak's stress, since he is worried that Champak chacha might not turn up on time.

While asking Mehta to go receive Varun before time, the former's boss also asks the employee to note Varun's car number. The situation leaves Mehta stressed thinking what if Champak chacha does not appear before Varun comes to their house.

Taarak Mehta gets to know Champak chacha is running late

Taarak's anxiousness leads to him going to Gada house in person. He hopes to find Champak chacha at the house, but Tapu greets him instead. That is when Mehta gets to know that Champak chacha is not back. Tapu calms him down stating that Champak chacha would arrive any minute. But it doesn't take long for Mehta's mind to overthink the situation.

Taarak is now scared about what would happen if Varun and Champak chacha arrive in the society at the same time. He is worried that someone might call out to Champak chacha and thus, Mehta's lie would be caught.

Mehta goes to Abdul’s shop, meets Bhide instead

Mehta goes to Abdul's shop in stress, when Bhide and Madhavi play a prank on him. Bhide surprises Mehta with his scooter, Sakharam, only to get scolded in return. Bhide and Madhavi get stressed and wish to know what happened with Mehta, and the latter finally spills the beans. That leads to Bhide calling out Gada family members, only to be stopped by Madhavi's sarcasm.
