After a scenario with Mehta, his boss and a supposed Bade Guruji (Bapuji once pretended to be so), the focus has shifted back to Mehta and his boss. The boss, who was supposed to have a meeting in Delhi, was not in office. This gave Taarak the confidence to keep his wife Anjali haply by taking her out for shopping during his work hours. Unfortunately for Taarak, the meeting got cancelled and the boss wants to meet him first thing the next morning, face-to-face. Will Mehta get fired? Popatlal scares Taarak Mehta

Jethalal welcomes Anjali, who gets in the midst of Purush Mandali of Gokuldham society with Taarak Mehta. This is when Popatlal scares Mehta stating that it takes guts to leave the office during office hours. Mehta states that happened because he is certain that the boss is not in office, and Popatlal gives him the worst-case scenario.

Taarak Mehta assumes the worst possible situation

Mehta's boss informs him that his meeting was cancelled and thus, he is in Mumbai. The call was an angry call, thus making Mehta assume the worst possible situation. Taarak feels that since the boss' meeting was cancelled, he would have gone straight to office and realized that Taarak was not there despite all the promises. However, the boss had called him from the car.

Taarak Mehta scared that he has lost his job

The boss has asked Mehta to meet him the first thing tomorrow morning, thus leaving Taarak stressed beyond reason. He further scares Taarak by stating that he has something to tell Mehta which needs a face-to-face conversation. With that, a scared Mehta tells his wife that his job is probably on the line given the situation.
