Speculation had been rampant online, indicating that Rupali Ganguly intended to depart from the popular television series Anupamaa within the upcoming three months. However, the actress has publicly refuted these claims regarding her departure. 

She stated that she has no plans to leave Anupamaa and intends to continue being a vital part of the show until its conclusion.

Rupali reacts

Rupali has expressed that she has not considered leaving the show. 

She remarked, “It is astonishing how some individuals possess such vivid imaginations. However, I appreciate the discussions surrounding me and the show. What can I say? Every individual has a core, and I believe mine is rooted in gratitude. My husband and I both feel that the recognition, platform, and position that Rajan Ji has provided me are things I can never repay in this lifetime. Anupamaa transcends being merely a show for me; it embodies an emotion, a home, my second home, where all my beloved pets reside, and the cast and crew have become like family. Therefore, who would leave their family or home? God forbid, may that never occur. If Rajan Ji were to ever suggest that he no longer requires my presence, I would likely engage in a discussion with him, pleading, ‘Please allow me to remain in Anupamaa.’ I was the one who opened the door for this show, and I intend to remain a part of it until the very end. Even if I encounter challenges, I will not depart,” she stated.

Addressing the rumours as peculiar, Rupali conveyed her gratitude to the creators for initially offering her the role.

She further stated, “There can be no more bizarre news than this. Anupamaa has shaped Rupali Ganguly into who she is today, and it has become an integral part of my identity. Thus, it is absurd for people to speculate and write such things, but I am immensely grateful for all the love that has been directed my way. To those who have supported me, I urge you to continue watching Anupamaa, as my show deserves to thrive. Rajan Ji is the visionary behind the show, and as long as he desires, I will strive diligently, with unwavering dedication and passion. I sincerely hope this journey continues for many years to come.
