The week on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah was about Abdul's disappearance and reappearance in Gokuldham society. It began with Bhide and Tapu's bickering and ended with Abdul hiding once again, this time with Bhide. Here's what happened this week on the beloved show from Indian Television...

First hints of Abdul's disappearance

Tapu, Goli, and Gogi left to bring the essentials for Gokuldham society members. They had to take Bhide's scooter Sakharam for the same. When back, Tapu had fun with Bhide by telling the teacher he lost his scooter. However, everyone is left wondering and worrying about Abdul, who has been unreachable since a night back.

Bhide, Tapu Sena search for Abdul

Bhide and Tapu Sena gather to search for Abdul together. They reach out to everybody associated with Abdul. It is in front of his shop that they realize Abdul has a loan. Thus, they guess that Abdul might have gone to his village to gather the loan amount. Of course, they were partially right.

Inspector Chaalu Pandey's involvement

After not finding Abdul anywhere, Gokuldham society members involve Inspector Chaalu Pandey. Seeing the past instances where both Popatlal and Goli came back after going missing, Pandey refuses to file Abdul's missing report, at least initially.

Abdul is back

As Pandey arrives in the society, everybody is happy that Abdul is found, but Abdul was not found at the time. The blame goes on Bhide, who gathered them all for what would have been good news.

Fortunately, soon after, Abdul did come back to the society. He received a good scolding, but also the love of Gokuldham society members, specifically Goli and Madhavi, who prayed for his return.

Abdul has a secret

Abdul is holding on to a secret that he doesn't want the Gokuldham society members to know about. More recently, he went hiding from tempo driver Chenu, who delivers essentials to his store. Chenu refused to cancel the order placed and Abdul, who already had a lot of items in store, is now burdened with more. More importantly, he was heard wondering what will happen when the members get to know about his secret.
