This feature is included in WhatsApp beta version 2.24.0.25.29 for Android. It introduces notification alerts to inform users about messages or status updates they may have overlooked.

According to the report, this feature utilizes an internal algorithm that tracks the frequency of communication with specific contacts. Users will receive notifications regarding those contacts with whom they interact more frequently, as opposed to those with whom they have less communication. The system will prioritize a list of frequently contacted individuals. It is also reported that WhatsApp intends to store this data locally.
