Vodafone Idea (Vi) is gearing up to launch its 5G services across India in 2024, after a two-year wait since it got the spectrum in the 2022 5G auction. The rollout will kick off in 17 telecom circles, stepping into the competitive 5G arena where Airtel and Jio have already made their moves.

Vi aims to provide 5G connectivity for both prepaid and postpaid customers. The company will utilize the 3.3GHz and 26GHz (mmWave) spectrum for its network. A spokesperson from Vi has confirmed that they are all set to go, with the launch adhering to MRO guidelines.
