After a month of anticipation, Samsung has officially revealed the release date for OneUI 7, which will be available for older generation Galaxy phones. This announcement is likely to delight Samsung users, particularly those with the Galaxy S24 series or the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 models. The OneUI 7 update introduces a variety of enhancements, features, user interface modifications, and artificial intelligence improvements, making it one of the most anticipated updates of the year. With the operating system set to be accessible soon, users will be able to utilize the latest AI functionalities. However, it is important to note that not all AI features will be available for older Samsung devices. Therefore, users should verify which AI capabilities their smartphones will support following the OneUI 7 rollout.

OneUI 7 Rollout: AI Features Coming to Galaxy Phones

Samsung has announced that OneUI 7, featuring the latest AI functionalities, will be released to Galaxy phone users on April 7. The company has also indicated that certain AI features, such as Drawing Assist and Writing Assist, will be limited to specific devices. These include the Galaxy S23 FE, S24 FE, Galaxy S23 series, S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5, Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 5, Flip 6, as well as the Galaxy Tab S9 and Galaxy Tab S10 models.

However, the most highly anticipated AI features, including Audio Eraser and natural language search within settings, will be exclusive to the latest generation models, specifically the Galaxy S24 FE, Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Tab S10 series. Consequently, not all Samsung Galaxy users will have access to these advanced features, as the company aims to maintain exclusivity for its premium smartphone and tablet offerings.

In addition to these two features, OneUI 7 will introduce a range of intuitive functionalities and customization options for Samsung users, enhancing their overall experience. Reports also suggest that a new Log video feature will be made available to users of the Galaxy S24 series, catering to professional videography needs.
