In contemporary times, calendar and event invitation applications have become essential tools, with numerous organizations and professionals utilizing platforms such as Google Calendar, Eventify, and others to efficiently manage their events and schedules. Although Apple already offers a Calendar app, it is reportedly developing a new application for the iPhone named "Invites," specifically aimed at managing event and meeting invitations. Sources indicate that this forthcoming app will allow users to effortlessly organize both virtual and in-person events, monitor RSVPs, and access a list of confirmed participants.

Details regarding the Invites app for iPhone remain limited; however, it is anticipated to be integrated with Apple's existing Calendar app and will likely synchronize automatically with iCloud. There are indications that a web version may also be available on iCloud.com. 9To5Mac has reported that Apple is employing a particular internal technology known as GroupKit to enhance its functionalities, enabling users to view lists of invitees, track RSVPs, and access other pertinent event information. Additionally, there is speculation that the Invites app may be incorporated into other iPhone applications.

While the new iPhone app has been identified in the iOS 18.3 beta 2, it is considered improbable that it will be released alongside the iOS 18 update.
