Pujara praised the Australian fast bowler, noting significant improvements in his control with the new ball.
"Mitchell Starc's performance against left-handed batsmen has been outstanding, not only in this series but also in several previous ones. I believe Mitchell Starc is the premier bowler in this series due to his enhanced control of the new ball," he stated.
The Indian batsman, who has recently fallen out of favour, also suggested that KL Rahul should take the initiative in the upcoming innings against Starc with the new ball.
"Since Yashasvi is facing the first over, he is encountering more challenges. I would prefer right-handed batsman KL Rahul to confront Mitchell Starc, as we have observed that Yashasvi tends to get dismissed very early in the first over. He might have a better chance of survival if he does not take the strike," Pujara remarked.
