His partnership of 90 runs with captain Shubman Gill was crucial to Gujarat's successful pursuit of 153 runs, which they achieved with 20 balls to spare and seven wickets in hand. However, Sundar did not bowl in this match, leading to speculation about whether he will be utilized solely as a batsman for the remainder of the season.
