India took the crown on Sunday, beating New Zealand in the Champions Trophy 2025 final held in Dubai. Rohit Sharma, the Indian captain, was named Man of the Match for his impressive 76 runs, while Rachin Ravindra earned the title of Player of the Tournament.

On Monday, the ICC revealed their Champions Trophy 2025 Team of the Tournament, and it was no shocker that five players from India made the cut.

Rachin Ravindra has earned a spot as the opener for the Team of the Tournament, racking up 251 runs, including two centuries, and boasting an impressive average of 62.75. He also contributed with his spin bowling as New Zealand finished as the runners-up. Joining him at the top of the order is Afghanistan's Ibrahim Zadran, who scored 216 runs at an average of 72, also with a century to his name.
Following the openers, we have Virat Kohli at No. 3, who accumulated 218 runs with an average of 54.5, including a century against Pakistan. This performance marked his 51st ODI century and pushed him past 14,000 runs in ODIs. Next up is Shreyas Iyer at No. 4, who made 243 runs at an average of 48.6, proving his critics wrong with a solid showing. His lowest score in the tournament was 45.
KL Rahul takes on the wicketkeeper role and will bat at No. 5. He was a dependable finisher for India in Dubai, remaining unbeaten three times. The all-rounder lineup features New Zealand's Glenn Phillips, Afghanistan's Azmatullah Omarzai, and Mitchell Santner, who are placed at No. 6, 7, and 8. The tail includes pacers Mohammed Shami, Matt Henry, and spinner Varun Chakaravarthy.
With Jasprit Bumrah sidelined, Shami stepped up as the leader of India's pace attack, taking nine wickets, including a five-wicket haul, and four wickets in both the semi-finals and finals. Chakaravarthy was a game-changer for India, finishing with nine wickets, including key dismissals. Axar Patel has been named as the 12th reserve player.
