Virat Kohli has consistently been a commanding figure on the cricket field, regardless of his batting performance. Earlier on Sunday, he drew significant attention with an intense send-off after running out Nehal Wadhera during the match against Punjab Kings, a moment that rapidly gained traction online. However, Kohli's antics did not end there. As he approached the crease during the run-chase, the RCB star once again captivated fans with a humorous exchange in Punjabi with PBKS spinner Harpreet Brar.

Kohli, who has Punjabi heritage, was overheard on the stump microphone playfully informing Brar that he has been playing cricket for two decades and is even familiar with his coach. Brar couldn't suppress his laughter at the friendly banter, and social media quickly embraced this amusing interaction.

In a match characterized by drama and intensity, Kohli's witty Punjabi remark showcased his playful personality, much to the delight of fans.

RCB maintained their flawless away record this season with a decisive seven-wicket victory over Punjab Kings, avenging their recent defeat to the same team just two days prior. The target of 158 was comfortably achieved, with Devdutt Padikkal returning to form with an impressive 61 runs off 35 balls—his first IPL fifty in 22 innings—while Virat Kohli provided stability to the innings with an unbeaten 73 runs off 54 balls.

Kohli and Padikkal formed a formidable partnership, contributing 103 runs for the second wicket in a mere 11.3 overs. Padikkal showcased his elegant batting style, while Kohli focused on rotating the strike, displaying his trademark shots when necessary, including a spectacular inside-out six off Yuzvendra Chahal.

The match concluded in 18.5 overs, propelling RCB into the top four of the standings.

Earlier, Punjab Kings were unable to build on a promising start, finishing with a subpar total of 157/6 after being invited to bat. The opening partnership between Priyansh Arya (22) and Prabhsimran Singh (33) produced 42 runs, but the innings faltered after Krunal Pandya dismissed Arya. Krunal (2/25) and leg-spinner Suyash Sharma (2/26) tightened the grip during the middle overs, leading to PBKS losing three wickets for just 14 runs and failing to recover.

Nehal Wadhera's unfortunate run-out and poor shot selection from Shreyas Iyer and Josh Inglis further exacerbated PBKS's difficulties, reminiscent of their recent collapse against KKR at the same venue.
