Royal Challengers Bengaluru kicked off IPL 2025 with an amazing start, currently sitting at the top of the points table after winning two games in a row. To celebrate this success, former captain Virat Kohli treated the whole team to dinner at his restaurant in Bengaluru. However, he was taken aback when he spotted a fan in a Chennai Super Kings jersey at the gathering.

In a video that quickly spread across social media, Kohli noticed the CSK fan as soon as he entered the restaurant. He couldn't resist pointing him out, which led to some laughter as the fan just smiled shyly in response.

RCB scores back-to-back victories

Under the new leadership of Rajat Patidar, RCB kicked off the 18th season of the IPL with a bang. They secured a victory against the reigning champions, Kolkata Knight Riders, at Eden Gardens last month, and followed it up with their first win over CSK in 17 years at the MA Chidambaram Stadium.

“It’s just the beginning of the tournament; there’s still a long road ahead. But we couldn’t have asked for a better start from Rajat. He’s been leading by example with his batting. It’s crucial for a leader to show how they want to play through their own actions, and he’s doing just that. I’m really enjoying building a relationship with him. Hopefully, he feels the same way,” said RCB head coach Andy Flower in an interview with the franchise website.

After two weeks on the road, RCB is back home, ready to take on the Gujarat Titans at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Wednesday. The bowlers played a key role in their wins against KKR and CSK, but they’re up against a different challenge at home with the Titans. The pitch at Chinnaswamy has always favored batters, with short boundaries and a fast outfield making it tough for bowlers. However, RCB is confident that they have two bowlers, Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar, who can keep the batters in check.
