Travis Head, who has been a major thorn in India's side, was honored with the prestigious Allan Border Medal on Monday. This marks Head's first win of the medal, wrapping up an incredible year for the left-handed batsman. He played a key role in Australia’s success, helping the team clinch the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 3-1 and securing a Test series victory over India for the first time in ten years.

In total, Head amassed 1427 runs across all formats, averaging 43.24 with five fifties and four centuries. He received 208 votes for the Allan Border Medal, with Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins trailing behind with 158 and 147 votes, respectively.

Additionally, Head snagged the Men’s ODI Player of the Year Award, narrowly beating out Alex Carey thanks to his stellar performance during Australia’s Tour of England. A standout moment was his unbeaten 154 runs off 129 balls in the first ODI at Nottingham, which led Australia to a win.

On the women's side, Australia’s all-rounder Annabel Sutherland took home the Belinda Clark Award at the same ceremony. She earned her first Belinda Clark Award just days after scoring a century in the CommBank Women’s Ashes Test against England at the MCG.

Sutherland was exceptional across all formats during a season where Australia swept the summer, winning series against India, New Zealand, and England without a single loss.

As a member of the ICC ODI Team of the Year, Sutherland also shone in Australia’s two Test matches. She scored 210 runs against South Africa in Perth at the end of last season and made history by being the first woman to score a Test century at the MCG in a Player of the Match performance against England.

Overall, Sutherland tallied 798 runs at an average of 46.94 and took 34 wickets at 20.82. In the voting for the Belinda Clark Award, she received 168 votes, ahead of Ashleigh Gardner with 143 and Beth Mooney with 115.

Josh Hazlewood has been named Test Player of the Year

Josh Hazlewood snagged the Shane Warne Men’s Test Player of the Year Award by racking up 30 wickets with an impressive average of 13.17, including two five-wicket hauls.

On the women’s side, Ashleigh Gardner took home the Women’s ODI Player of the Year Award after amassing 385 runs at an average of 38.5 and claiming 23 wickets at 15.52 during the voting period.

Adam Zampa was named the Men’s T20 International Player of the Year, showcasing a solid performance throughout the year, including the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in the West Indies and USA. He took 35 wickets, leading the pack by 14, with an average of 17.2.

In the BBL|14, Glenn Maxwell from the Melbourne Stars and Cooper Connolly from the Perth Scorchers shared the Player of the Tournament honors. Meanwhile, Ellyse Perry from the Sydney Sixers and Jess Jonassen from the Brisbane Heat were co-winners of the WBBL|10 Player of the Tournament.

Maxwell ended up as the fourth-highest run scorer, hitting 297 runs with a phenomenal strike rate of 194.12. Connolly, just 21, averaged over 50 with the bat and consistently held the Scorchers' innings together.
