Cam Ward is poised to be the first player selected in the forthcoming NFL Draft. The quarterback from the University of Miami has hinted that the Tennessee Titans are likely to choose him with the first overall pick on April 24, a selection held by Brian Callahan and his team.
In a recent video game livestream, Ward was queried about his favorite NFL running backs. Without much hesitation, the 22-year-old mentioned a couple of Titans players: Tony Pollard and Tyjae Spears. When asked about his preferred wide receivers, he responded with the names Treylon Burks and Calvin Ridley.
Ward has already had the opportunity to meet with potential teammates from the Tennessee Titans in Green Bay prior to the draft, and his comments during the livestream have sparked further speculation regarding his future.
NFL content aggregator Dov Kleiman remarked on X, the platform previously known as Twitter, that "Cam isn't even attempting to conceal it anymore."
Another fan commented, "Cam Ward is a Titan, and he’s not hiding it at all lol." A third user expressed curiosity by tweeting, "I wonder where he's being drafted."
Elijah Arroyo, a tight end who collaborated closely with Ward during their time with the Hurricanes, stated that the 22-year-old's transition to the Tennessee Titans would be ‘fantastic.’ "They're acquiring a dog," Arroyo added.
