Suryakumar Yadav struggled to regain his form upon his return to first-class cricket, as he recorded yet another disappointing score in the Ranji Trophy quarterfinal against Haryana. After leading India to a 4-1 series victory over England, he resumed his responsibilities with his domestic team. During the five-match series, Surya faced challenges against the pace and bounce delivered by Jofra Archer and Mark Wood, accumulating only 28 runs. In the match against Haryana, Sumit Kumar bowled an exceptional delivery that swung back to knock over Surya's stumps, leaving the Mumbai player in disbelief.
