Former cricketer Aakash Chopra believes that India should not approach their upcoming match against Australia with a mindset of seeking revenge for the disappointment experienced during the 2023 ODI World Cup. Instead, he emphasizes the importance of focusing on altering the outcome in the Champions Trophy semifinal. Chopra mentioned that he would refrain from wearing blue on Tuesday and proposed a strategy to dismiss Head early, urging Rohit Sharma and the bowlers to adopt a more proactive approach.
"I have decided that I won't wear blue. I will wear black clothes and go. However, how to stop Travis Head? Firstly, bowl around the stump and close to him. Try bouncers at the start and bring spin without wasting any time. Proactivity is needed here," he observed.
