India and Australia are currently engaged in a pivotal contest at the Gabba, part of the five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy series. The visiting captain, Rohit Sharma, won the toss and chose to bowl first, aiming to take advantage of the overcast weather conditions. However, Australia’s opening batsmen, Usman Khawaja and Nathan McSweeney, successfully navigated the new ball until heavy rain interrupted play, curtailing the first session.

As Day 1 unfolded, television cameras captured a moment featuring Sara Tendulkar, the daughter of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who was present at the Gabba for the match. Her appearance on screen occurred during the 10th over of Australia’s innings, with the hosts at 24 runs without loss. In the background, former Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh and Zaheer Khan were also visible in the stands.

In a widely circulated visual on the internet, Sara appeared to be gazing at her phone.

On Saturday morning, Sara Tendulkar posted a video on her Instagram Stories, in which she appeared to be heading towards the Gabba, the location for the third Test in the five-match series between India and Australia.

Shubman Gill has previously been associated with Sara Ali Khan, the daughter of Sachin Tendulkar. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the nature of their relationship.

India has made two alterations to their playing XI

The visitors made two alterations to their playing XI for the Test at the Gabba, following their defeat in the previous match in Adelaide. India introduced Ravindra Jadeja and Akash Deep, replacing Ravichandran Ashwin and Harshit Rana.

Conversely, Australia reinstated Josh Hazlewood, omitting pacer Scott Boland from their lineup.

During the toss, Rohit remarked, “The conditions are slightly overcast with some grass, and the pitch appears a bit soft as well. We aim to make the most of these conditions. There is still a lot of cricket to be played, and both teams have performed well in the last two matches.”

“This is a significant game for us, and we intend to meet expectations. We will play well, understanding the necessity to seize key moments, which we failed to do in the last game, leading to our loss. The atmosphere is electric, and the players are eager for the match; we are looking forward to taking the field,” he continued.

In contrast, Cummins stated, “This series has been exceptional thus far. We were pleased with our performance last week; nearly everyone has contributed to the series, and the lead-up has been positive. The early conclusion of the match in Adelaide allowed us to arrive here early and acclimatize.”

The five-match Border-Gavaskar Trophy is currently tied, following a strong comeback by the hosts in the pink-ball Test in Adelaide.
