Team India players came together off the field for a brand ad featuring Bollywood icons Aamir Khan and Ranbir Kapoor, and it totally took the internet by storm. Dream11, the fantasy sports platform, really went all out to merge the worlds of cricket and Bollywood ahead of the Indian Premier League 2025.

In the ad, you can spot India’s captain Rohit Sharma, along with Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Jasprit Bumrah. The video kicks off with Rohit chatting with Aamir, but then Pant jumps in, asking the Bollywood star for a selfie. The plot thickens when Pant reveals he actually wants a pic with Ranbir, declaring himself a huge fan, and that’s when the fun really starts.

Bumrah, who’s been sidelined with a back injury and missed the Champions Trophy, has the final word in the ad, humorously opting to retire instead of playing for either Aamir or Ranbir’s teams.

On Sunday, the Indian team secured their third ICC Champions Trophy by defeating New Zealand in the final.

Captain Rohit Sharma's quick half-century, along with impressive performances from spinners like Varun Chakravarthy and Kuldeep Yadav, led India to this significant victory.

Rohit earned the Player of the Match title for his outstanding display, scoring 76 runs off 83 balls, featuring seven fours and three sixes.

Rohit is keeping his choices flexible for the 2027 ODI World Cup

After leading India to a remarkable victory, Rohit mentioned that he's keeping his options open and isn't ready to commit to playing in the 2027 ODI World Cup just yet.

"It's tough to say at this moment," he remarked about the possibility of participating in the tournament two years down the line, as reported by ICC.

"I'm keeping all my options on the table. I want to evaluate how I'm performing. Right now, I'm playing really well and enjoying my time with the team, and it seems like the team enjoys having me around too, which is great. I can't really predict 2027 since it's still a long way off, but I'm keeping my options open," he added.

In the meantime, the Indian players are gearing up to hit the cricket field again for the Indian Premier League 2025, starting on March 22. After their Champions Trophy win, the Indian stars will be full of confidence and ready to play in the high-stakes league without much pressure.
