Recently, a video shared by MI on social media grabbed fans' attention, featuring Rohit’s gloves that had the letters ‘SAR’ printed on them.

The post invited fans to guess what it meant, asking, “SAR Any guesses Paltan?”

Fans quickly figured it out, with many believing that ‘SAR’ represents Samaira, Ahaan, and Ritika. Ritika is Rohit’s wife, while Ahaan and Samaira are their son and daughter.

Rohit recently guided India to victory in the Champions Trophy, making history as the first captain in international cricket to reach the finals of every ICC event. Since taking over the captaincy from Virat Kohli, he has led India to the finals of the WTC, ODI World Cup, T20 World Cup, and Champions Trophy. In addition to the Champions Trophy win, he also secured a T20 World Cup title for India.

As Rohit approaches the final stages of his T20 career, he has been taking more aggressive risks with his shots. Former Australian cricketer Aaron Finch commented on Rohit's style, saying, “If you look at how Rohit plays, consider the players around him. He has the support of teammates who can build their innings around him. So, it’s fine for him to go out there and play aggressively, aiming to hit sixes early on. However, he needs to be aware of the team dynamics in that context.”

In their upcoming match against CSK, MI will be without their star bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who is still recovering from an injury and missing the start of the new season.
