India triumphed in the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025, securing victory over New Zealand by four wickets at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Sunday. The moment Ravindra Jadeja struck the decisive runs, jubilant celebrations erupted within the Indian dressing room, reflecting immense joy. Senior players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli were observed engaging in dandiya with the stumps, fully embracing the moment of victory.
Following their dance, Kohli and Rohit shared a heartfelt embrace and posed for photographs.
As the winning runs were scored, the entire Indian contingent rushed onto the field. Ravindra Jadeja, Harshit Rana, and Arshdeep Singh were seen performing the ‘Gangnam Style’ dance.
Jadeja even lifted head coach Gautam Gambhir as players from both the Indian and New Zealand teams exchanged handshakes and friendly gestures.
Virat Kohli expressed his elation in the dressing room once India secured the win. He first embraced assistant coach Abhishek Nayar before moving to Gambhir, sharing a hug that conveyed his overwhelming joy.
Ravindra Jadeja was observed sending kisses towards the Indian dressing room, while KL Rahul extended his arms in celebration. Varun Chakaravarthy, Hardik Pandya, Kuldeep Yadav, and Shreyas Iyer also rushed out to join in the festivities with the entire Indian contingent.
This victory marks India's third Champions Trophy title, following their previous wins in 2002 and 2013.

The legends of the sport have a remarkable ability to rise to the occasion, a quality exemplified by Indian captain Rohit Sharma during the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 final against New Zealand.
From the outset of the chase for 252 runs, the right-handed batsman demonstrated his aggressive intent, amassing 76 runs off 83 balls, which included seven boundaries and three sixes.
New Zealand fought valiantly until the conclusion of the match; however, the significant contributions from Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul ultimately secured victory for India.
Shreyas Iyer scored 48 runs, while KL Rahul remained not out with 34 runs from 33 balls.
Earlier in the match, New Zealand had set a target of 251 runs for the loss of seven wickets in their fifty overs after choosing to bat first. Daryl Mitchell was the standout performer for the Kiwis, scoring 63 runs off 101 balls. For India, both Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakaravarthy claimed two wickets each.
