Pant's absence from the game doesn't make sense, but the LSG team management, think tank, and coaches will undoubtedly explain what transpired.

This is what we know: Considering the match situation, Abdul Samad, David Miller, and Ayush Badoni (the impact player) were probably better equipped to complete the task, which is why Pant was held back.

With a healthy bit of salt, take this at face value. There are several reasons why this argument is really flimsy. As the captain of the LSG, Pant serves as the team's 'face' and leader. Given the situation, one would anticipate that he would take charge, endure, and save the squad

It is quite probable that the truth of what transpired will never be made public, and perhaps it is not even worth considering this further. Having said that, it is undeniable that the market's volatility has had a significant negative impact on the Rishabh brand.

In addition to Pant and the strange shifts in the batting lineup, there are several larger issues as well. Are captains being forced into a corner by influential coaches or support personnel who are seated on the sidelines, other than the big guys? Are data and support personnel now occupying space that was formerly exclusively owned by the captain? Is T20 cricket moving toward a more cooperative style of leadership, in which the captain is just one of many rather than the main player with the power to veto important choices?

Tiger Pataudi formerly stated about cricket and leading a team that it's straightforward, but folks make it needlessly complex.
