RCB Youngster Swastik Chikara’s Hilarious Antics: Uses Virat Kohli’s Perfume, Demands Gifts
7 days ago | 5 Views
Most young fans tend to feel a bit shy around Virat Kohli, but Swastik Chikara from Royal Challengers Bengaluru is not one of them. The 20-year-old Chikara recently made headlines when he opened Kohli's bag and used the former Indian captain's perfume without permission. He took things up a notch while celebrating his birthday with the RCB team, where he playfully bit Kohli's finger and then asked for a watch as a birthday gift.
In a video shared by RCB, Chikara was his usual lively self, cutting the cake and feeding it to Kohli. But when it was his turn to be fed cake, he cheekily held onto Kohli's finger with his teeth. Kohli laughed and said, "At least, leave my finger," as they both shared a good laugh. Chikara then turned to the camera and jokingly requested, "Please get Virat bhai to gift me 2-3 watches."

Chikara headed over to celebrate his birthday with his teammates. In the midst of some playful cake smearing, he also shared some cake with batting coach Dinesh Karthik and head coach Andy Flower. Despite last night's loss to the Gujarat Titans, the whole RCB squad seemed to be in high spirits. With two wins out of three matches, RCB has secured a spot in the top three of the points table.
Additional information about Swastik Chikara
Here’s a fun fact about Chikara: he never attended school. From the age of 4 or 5, all he did was play cricket. He shot to fame during the first season of the UPT20 League, where he scored 494 runs for the Meerut Mavericks, making him the second-highest run-scorer of the season with three centuries and 26 sixes. The next year, he improved his performance, racking up 499 runs at a strike rate of 185 and an incredible 47 sixes. Chikara plays aggressive cricket at the top of the order, and even though he hasn't had his big break yet, don’t count him out.
Last November, during the IPL 2025 mega auction in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, RCB picked up Chikara for a base price of INR 30 lakh. However, the deal had a bit of drama. When RCB placed their bid, auctioneer Mallika Sagar didn’t notice that the Delhi Capitals had also raised their paddle. She apologized for the oversight and continued with the auction since once a player is sold, they can’t be brought back. Interestingly, Chikara had played for DC the previous season after being bought for ₹20 lakh, but he never got to step onto the field.
