“Salt is ill with fever. So Jacob Bethell comes in his place,” stated Patidar during the toss.

RCB captain Patidar won the toss and chose to bowl first against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. The visitors made only one change to their lineup, bringing in Bethell to replace Salt.

Phil Salt has developed a strong opening partnership with Virat Kohli for RCB. In the nine matches he has participated in thus far, the right-handed Salt has accumulated 239 runs at an average of 26. 56 and a strike rate of 168. 31.

This marks the first match that Salt will miss for RCB in the IPL 2025 season. During the toss, Rajat Patidar mentioned, “We will bowl first. The wicket is quite good to bat on and I don’t believe it’s going to change significantly, and we prefer to chase. ”

“It was our first victory at home, and we will aim to continue playing well. In every match, we are trying to improve, so we want to keep learning,” he further added.

What did Axar Patel say at the toss? RCB will seek revenge against Delhi Capitals as earlier this season, the Axar Patel-led team overcame the hosts at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. KL Rahul was the key player for Delhi as he assisted the franchise in chasing down a challenging total.

For the game in Delhi, the hosts made one modification to their lineup as they included Faf du Plessis in the team.

At the toss, Axar Patel remarked, “That is an advantage too, but if we had won the toss, I believe we would have batted first and utilized the wicket in the second innings. In the last match, there was no dew, but in the game against Mumbai, there was some dew. ”

Axar Patel also discussed his approach to bowling in the powerplay against Lucknow Super Giants in Delhi Capitals’ previous match in Lucknow.

“They (LSG) had two foreign batters at the top, so I wanted to bowl against them. I was bowling with good rhythm; the plan wasn’t to bowl four overs consecutively, but I kept bowling, so I continued with it. Faf is back, and the Impact player will be determined according to the situation,” he added.
