Brazilian superstar Neymar has shared his hopes of reuniting with his close pals Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez down the line. The trio was part of an incredible attacking force at FC Barcelona, where they clinched the treble during the 2014-15 season. Neymar made headlines when he left Barcelona in 2017 for a staggering 222 million euros ($230.39 million) to join Paris St Germain. He did get to team up with Messi again at PSG for a couple of years, but in 2023, they went their separate ways—Messi heading to MLS to play for Inter Miami, while Neymar took his talents to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

Suarez also made the move to Inter Miami last season, creating a mini Barcelona reunion with four former stars on the roster, including Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.

Neymar is thrilled about the possibility of an MSN comeback, as the three still maintain a strong friendship.

“Of course, playing with Messi and Suarez again would be amazing. They’re my buddies, and we still keep in touch. It would be cool to bring back that trio. I’m enjoying my time at Al-Hilal and in Saudi Arabia, but you never know what football has in store,” Neymar told CNN Sport.

He had a solid six seasons at PSG, racking up 118 goals, but even with all that domestic success, he couldn't clinch the Champions League title with the French team before heading to the Saudi Pro League.

Since his move to Al-Hilal for around 90 million euros in 2023, Neymar has only played seven matches due to injuries that have kept him out for extended periods. His contract is set to expire in June, and there’s a lot of buzz about the possibility of him leaving the club.

The 32-year-old shared his thoughts on his big move to Saudi Arabia, explaining that he didn’t have the option to go to the US because the MLS transfer window was already closed when he left PSG. “When the news broke about my departure from Paris Saint-Germain, the transfer window in the United States was shut, so that option wasn’t available. The project they presented to me in Saudi Arabia was really appealing, not just for me but for my family too, so it felt like the right choice,” he said.
