The fourth Test between India and Australia at the legendary Melbourne Cricket Ground has been packed with intense moments both on and off the pitch. On Day 2, a new twist in the ongoing clash unfolded between India's KL Rahul and Australian spinner Nathan Lyon.

After Rohit Sharma returned to open with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rahul was shifted down to No. 3 in the batting order. As he stepped up to the crease and got ready to bat, Lyon couldn't resist throwing a jab at him about his new position, asking, "What did you do wrong to bat one down?"

Rahul didn't let Lyon's comment get to him and kept his head in the game. This all comes after a pretty tense vibe during the Boxing Day Test, especially after the clash between Virat Kohli and newcomer Sam Konstas on Day 1. As Kohli walked by, their shoulders brushed, sparking a fiery exchange.

Since then, the Aussie crowd at the MCG has been booing Kohli, but he fired back, urging them to boo even louder.

On the other hand, India was still struggling with their batting, and captain Rohit Sharma couldn't shake off his slump. On the very first ball of the sixth over, Pat Cummins bowled a short one outside off stump. Rohit tried to pull it but misjudged, sending the ball straight up. Scott Boland was right there to catch it at mid-wicket, keeping Rohit's rough patch going.

Rahul was in great form, but he got out just as tea was called, thanks to a fantastic delivery from Cummins. The Aussie skipper sent the ball swinging away from Rahul, catching the edge and knocking over the stumps. Rahul couldn't help but appreciate the beauty of that delivery, especially since India now has a tough challenge ahead after Australia piled up a massive 474 in their first innings.

Rohit's wicket was his seventh in Test matches against Cummins. As the game moves into the last session of Day 2, India is really counting on a strong partnership between Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal to get things back on track.
