India, Jan. 12 -- Lionel Messi has finally secured the trophy that had eluded him for the entirety of his illustrious career, triumphing in the FIFA World Cup 2022 held in Qatar. Argentina emerged victorious against France in a penalty shootout, marking a historic moment for Messi. The World Cup in Qatar witnessed significant support for Argentina and Messi from India, particularly from the residents of Kerala.

It appears that Messi and his team are scheduled to visit the southern Indian state in the latter half of 2025. V Abdurahiman, Kerala's sports minister, announced at an event in Kozhikode, "Messi will be in Kerala for seven days from October 25 to November 2. In addition to a friendly match, he will spend twenty minutes on a public platform to engage with everyone.

However, there may be inaccuracies in the minister's statement, as FIFA does not have an international window during the specified dates. The available windows during that period are from October 6 to 14 and November 10 to 18.

Currently, Messi is playing for Inter Miami in Major League Soccer, arguably in the twilight of his career. Throughout his remarkable journey, he has been awarded the Ballon d'Or eight times and has been recognized as FIFA's Best Player on eight occasions.
