India, Feb. 10 -- Lionel Messi and his former Barcelona colleagues enjoyed an evening out as they immersed themselves in the NFL experience. Messi attended the Super Bowl at the stadium in New Orleans alongside Inter Miami teammates Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Luis Suarez. The group was there to witness the Super Bowl clash between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Although the players are currently engaged in Inter Miami's preseason tour across North and South America, they still found the opportunity to attend this high-profile sporting event, which also featured other celebrities such as Taylor Swift and Serena Williams. The Inter Miami stars were situated in the VIP box.

The Philadelphia Eagles secured a 40-22 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, marking their third consecutive Super Bowl championship.

Messi's new season in Major League Soccer is set to commence on February 22, and the Argentine aims to capture the title this year. Last season, Miami finished at the top of their standings during the regular season but faced elimination in the first round of the playoffs.

Additionally, Miami has appointed a new manager for the upcoming season, bringing in former Barcelona and Argentina star Javier Mascherano. Mascherano has previously played alongside Messi, Suarez, Busquets, and Alba at the club level, as well as with Messi on the international stage.

In reference to his new position, Mascherano expressed to Goal, "I have made it clear that I will not enter the locker room and act as if we are not friends. I communicated to Jorge Mas, Leo, and the others that I will not sacrifice the relationships I have cultivated with them over the years for the sake of a job. That is not my character."

"It is an honor to coach Messi and players of such high caliber as Luis, Busi, Jordi, and others I have had the privilege to know, particularly the Argentines, as well as some promising young academy players like Noah Allen and David Ruiz. Having spent considerable time working with youth players, I take pleasure in continuing to embrace this opportunity," he further remarked.
