India, March 16 -- Isack Hadjar experienced a mixed start to his Formula 1 career, as he crashed his Racing Bulls car during the formation lap of the season-opening Australian Grand Prix. The incident occurred just before the race's commencement, resulting in a delay. The French driver collided with the wall while attempting to warm up his tyres, exacerbating the already looming threat of rain that could postpone the start.

The 20-year-old was visibly upset, declining to respond to radio communications as he exited his vehicle. He kept his helmet on and held one hand on his visor while officials offered their support.

As he made his way slowly to the pit lane, Anthony Hamilton, the father of Lewis Hamilton, approached and comforted the young driver with a supportive embrace, creating a touching moment.

Hadjar, a known admirer of the British champion, has previously taken selfies with him, making this encounter a memorable one as he received consolation from Hamilton's father.

Later, Hadjar reflected on the incident, stating, "I just lost the rear end of the car. In these conditions, these cars can snap so quickly that it's nearly impossible to regain control. I attempted to save it, knowing it would be challenging even during the formation lap, but it was certainly manageable. I feel sorry for my team and my loved ones watching the race. It's quite embarrassing."

When asked about his interaction with Hamilton's father, he shared, "He encouraged me to keep my head up and be proud, mentioning that I performed well the day before. It was a kind gesture from him."

In response to inquiries about his supportive actions, Anthony Hamilton explained, "My heart went out to him. I felt for him, his parents, and all the hard work they put in to reach this point, only to have it taken away. I just felt awful for him, so I thought it was important to tell him to keep his head high and walk tall; he would return. I believe he is an exceptional driver, and there is much more to come from Isack than what we witnessed this weekend."
