Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, accompanied by their two children, were filmed during a visit to the esteemed spiritual leader Premanand Ji Maharaj at Vrindavan Dham, a video of which has gained significant traction on social media. Both Virat and Anushka have been devoted followers of Premanand Ji for an extended period and were observed engaging in conversation with him.

In the footage, Virat and Anushka are seen kneeling in reverence to the widely respected Premanand, seeking his blessings and expressing their devotion to him. This marks their second visit to Premanand, the first occurring in January 2023.

An audio recording captured Anushka Sharma expressing to the guru, “During our previous visit, I had several questions on my mind. I intended to inquire about something, but it seemed that everyone present had already posed similar questions. It felt as though I was conversing with you in our thoughts. The following day, I would watch Ekantik Vartalap (the sermons by Premanand available online), and invariably, someone would ask the same question.”

While Anushka engages in conversation with Premanand Maharaj, Kohli is observed interacting with their daughter Vamika, whom he is currently holding. Anushka is seen cradling Akaay, the younger of their two children. “I would like to request that you bless us with prem-bhakti,” Anushka concluded.

In response to Anushka’s heartfelt request, Premanand offered a touching reply: “Both of you exhibit great courage. It is quite challenging to turn towards bhakti (devotion) in this world. I believe you will undoubtedly receive the fruits of your devotion.”

Kohli's visit to Vrindavan follows a challenging personal series in Australia during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and he will now focus on the 50-over format, with the upcoming ODI series against England and the ICC Champions Trophy on the horizon.

In the five-match series against Australia, Virat managed to score only 190 runs, despite achieving a century in Perth. There is an increasing call for Virat Kohli to return to domestic cricket in preparation for the upcoming tour of England, where India is scheduled to play five Test matches.

In October 2024, Virat and Anushka were also seen attending a kirtan in Mumbai, following their joint attendance at a kirtan in London. This occasion provided a rare glimpse of the couple in public with their two children, whom they generally strive to keep out of the public eye.
