WWE icon John Cena is a regular visitor to India, yet he remains deeply connected to the country's cultural landscape. On Wednesday, he demonstrated his awareness of Indian sports by posting a photo of cricket sensation Virat Kohli striking Cena's famous 'You can’t see me' pose, a gesture that delighted fans across both sports communities.

Recently, Kohli had emulated Cena’s signature move while showcasing his T20 World Cup ring, prompting Cena to share the moment on his Instagram account.

The image, taken from a video recorded prior to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru's match against the Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium, depicted Kohli proudly displaying the coveted ring from India's victory in the 2024 T20 World Cup. Kohli has consistently attracted international attention and is recognized even in regions where cricket is not the dominant sport.

In typical Cena style, the post was devoid of any caption, focusing solely on the image. This is not the first instance of Cena sharing a photo of Kohli, but the timing added a unique significance to the moment.

Kohli and RCB's top form

On  Kohli has begun his IPL 2025 season on a positive note, accumulating 164 runs across four matches, which includes two impressive half-centuries. At 35 years old, he remains a crucial figure in stabilizing RCB’s batting lineup. Notably, the team has transformed its narrative this season.

After enduring years of inconsistency, RCB currently occupies a favorable position in the upper half of the standings, having secured three victories out of four matches. This includes significant wins, such as ending a 17-year winless streak in Chennai and breaking a decade-long drought at the Wankhede Stadium.

A significant factor in this revival is the revamped bowling lineup. The addition of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood has strengthened the pace attack, while Krunal Pandya’s rise as the primary spinner has enhanced the team’s overall balance. Traditionally viewed as a batting-dominant team, RCB now presents a more well-rounded squad that fans hope could finally lift the title.

In a parallel narrative, Cena's pursuit of success continues. On April 20, he is set to compete against Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 in Nevada. A victory in this match would grant Cena his 17th world championship title, surpassing the record he currently shares with Ric Flair.
