A strange event took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday when Sunrisers batter Ishan Kishan left the field, demonstrating the 'spirit of cricket' during a half-hearted appeal from Mumbai Indians, which even earned him applause from the opposing team, only to find out later that he wasn't actually out. The home team had a rough start after batting first against Mumbai, losing four wickets for just 24 runs during the powerplay. This marked the first time in 12 years that Sunrisers Hyderabad lost their first four wickets for under 20 runs in an IPL match. Chahar was the standout bowler for Mumbai, taking two wickets for only 12 runs before Hardik bowled him out by the seventh over. Currently, Sunrisers are sitting in ninth place on the points table with just two wins this season, only ahead of Chennai Super Kings by net run rate, who have managed to gather four points so far.
