Legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan made his comeback to WWE on the special Monday Night RAW on January 6, marking the start of a new era with Netflix taking over the streaming rights. WWE had a lineup of historic returns planned for the night, with John Cena kicking off his farewell tour. The Rock and The Undertaker also made surprise appearances, but Hogan's return might not have gone as smoothly as hoped. The 72-year-old legend strolled out to his classic “Real American” theme song and initially received a warm welcome from the crowd of over 17,000 at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles. However, things quickly turned sour as fans began to boo him during his promo. Even his signature T-shirt-ripping moment couldn't save the segment from the negative reaction.

Hogan was out there promoting his new beer brand on Monday Night RAW, but the crowd wasn’t having it and booed him right out of the arena.

“I’ve had a ton of partners over the years. I’ve teamed up with legends like the Macho Man Randy Savage and giants like Andre the Giant,” Hogan shouted, struggling to be heard over the loud boos. “But the best partner the WWE has ever had is the fact that tonight, we’re making history with a partnership between WWE and Netflix, the ultimate tag team partner,” he continued.

On a different note, it was a legendary night for the company as they kicked off a new era with some electrifying matches that had the audience on the edge of their seats. The show opened with a Tribal Combat match featuring Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, where six-time WWE champion Roman came out on top, reclaiming the Ula Fala that The Rock had given him.

John Cena also made waves by announcing his entry into this year’s Royal Rumble, delivering a spine-tingling promo on RAW. Plus, The Undertaker showed up to celebrate Rhea Ripley’s victory over Liv Morgan, reclaiming the Women’s Championship title, all while rocking his American Baddass look.
