The Mumbai Indians, led by Hardik Pandya, are eager for a change in their luck during the ongoing 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL). The five-time champions have faced a tough start, losing four out of their first five matches. Their next challenge is against Axar Patel's Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. Before this crucial game, Hardik fulfilled a promise he made to Kashvee Gautam.

For those who may not know, Kashvee Gautam gained fame through her performance with the Gujarat Giants in the 2025 Women's Premier League (WPL). She admires Hardik Pandya and had previously asked him for his bat during one of the WPL matches.

When they met, Kashvee shared that she had modeled her playing style after Hardik and even had "HP33" written on her bat. Hardik was impressed by her dedication and promised to modify one of his bats to match the weight of Kashvee's original bat, which is 1100 grams, and give it to her.

Harleen Deol, a star from the Gujarat Giants, introduced Kashvee to Hardik, highlighting her enthusiasm as a devoted fan of the all-rounder. Hardik then assured Kashvee that he would present her with a bat later on.

Kashvee Gautam has received her first call-up to the Indian women's team just in time for this year's World Cup, set to take place in India.

Hardik Pandya catches up with Kashvee Gautam in Delhi

Ahead of the Mumbai Indians' fixture against Delhi Capitals in Delhi, Kashvee Gautam visited the Arun Jaitley Stadium to meet Hardik Pandya. Then, the Mumbai Indians captain kept his promise, gifting the Gujarat Giants star with a bat.

Kashvee Gautam shared the video on Instagram with the caption, "Champions don’t just play the game—they uplift the next generation. Hardik Pandya, promise made, promise kept. Thank you, @hardikpandya93."

Hardik Pandya gave a shoutout to Kashvee for getting selected for the senior women's team. "Congrats on your first call-up! How are you feeling? Everything good?"

The 31-year-old then gifted Kashvee a bat, saying, "Use this bat. If you like it, just tell me. Have fun and do your best for India."

Before handing over the bat, Hardik also signed it for Kashvee Gautam. For those who don’t know, the Gujarat Giants player has been included in India's squad for the upcoming Tri-Series against Sri Lanka and South Africa.
