Mohammad Rizwan played a pivotal role for Multan, scoring an impressive 105 not out from 63 deliveries, helping his team set a target of 234 runs for three wickets. In response, Karachi successfully chased down the target with four balls remaining, thanks to a substantial 142-run partnership for the fifth wicket between Vince and Khusdil Shah. Vince reached his century before being dismissed on the last ball of the 18th over, while Khusdil contributed a quickfire 60 runs off 37 balls.

After securing a four-wicket victory at home, Vince was invited to the dressing room for a surprise sponsor giveaway following the post-match presentation. He was handed a hair dryer, which left him feeling somewhat embarrassed. This unusual reward sparked backlash on social media, as fans criticized the PSL franchise for commemorating a century with such an unconventional item.

Vince's exhilarating performance, which included a century off just 42 balls in Karachi, positioned him as the third-fastest centurion in the history of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The record for the quickest century in this premier T20 tournament is held by Usman Khan, who reached the milestone in a mere 36 balls. Following him is South Africa's Rilee Rossouw, who achieved his hundred in 41 deliveries.

Following a strong victory in their opening match at home, the Karachi Kings are set to compete against the Lahore Qalandars on Tuesday at the National Stadium.
