Yograj Singh, the father of Yuvraj Singh, is recognized for his rigorous coaching style, which effectively brings out the best in emerging cricketers. He operates his own academy, where he mentors young talents aspiring to represent the nation. Yograj Singh holds the view that Arjun Tendulkar possesses the potential to become the finest batter in the world. During a podcast discussion, he expressed that Arjun's abilities are being underutilized as he attempts to establish himself as a bowler, despite having the skills to excel as a batter.

He further stated that should Arjun Tendulkar seek his guidance, he could transform him into the greatest batter globally. It is noteworthy that Arjun trained with Yograj Singh for a brief period before making his debut for Goa in the Ranji Trophy.

Yograj also shared an instance where he demonstrated to Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh that Arjun's true talent lies in batting, as evidenced by his century in the Ranji Trophy for Goa. He mentioned that both former Indian cricketers perceive him as a bowling all-rounder, whereas he should be recognized as a batting all-rounder.

"If Arjun Tendulkar approaches me now, I can make him the world's greatest batter in six months. His batting potential is largely unknown. He spent 12 days with me and scored a century in the Ranji Trophy," Yograj Singh stated on Taruwar Kohli's YouTube channel.

"Sachin and Yuvraj encouraged me to mentor Arjun Tendulkar. He trained with me for about 10-12 days. I thought, 'he is such a talented batter. Why are you limiting him to bowling?' As a batting all-rounder, he will thrive," he added.
