After India's impressive Champions Trophy win, where they secured the title with a strong victory against New Zealand in the final, Gautam Gambhir is taking a well-deserved break from cricket. With the IPL season in full swing, the head coach of the Indian team has decided to step back from the intense action and enjoy some quality family time.

Currently on vacation, Gambhir shared a photo with his wife and kids. However, what really grabbed everyone's attention was a lighthearted tease from his former teammate Yuvraj Singh.

Always up for some fun, Yuvraj playfully poked fun at Gambhir’s serious expressions with a clever comment in Hindi: “Tu Na Hasiyo” (You Don’t Smile). Fans couldn't help but notice the playful exchange.

Yuvraj isn't new to teasing Gambhir about his serious demeanor. In 2020, when Gambhir shared a serious photo with the caption, “Social distancing since 2003,” Yuvraj humorously responded, “The only smile here is the emoji!”

Their friendship dates back quite a while, as they spent many years together in the senior men's team dressing room. Both were instrumental in India's triumph at the 2007 T20 World Cup and the ODI World Cup four years later.

Is Gambhir gearing up to join India A on their travels?

Earlier reports suggested that Gambhir might join the India A team for their upcoming tour to England, which is a warm-up for the senior team's series of five Tests. Unfortunately, India had a rough patch in Test cricket with Gambhir and Rohit Sharma at the helm, suffering a home series defeat to New Zealand (0-3) and a 3-1 loss in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia.

On the bright side, their performance in white-ball cricket has been outstanding, as the team remains unbeaten in the Champions Trophy 2025.

India's tour of England is set to kick off on June 20, with the first match taking place at Headingley. This tour will also mark the start of India's fourth campaign in the World Test Championship.
