Jax Ulbrich was recognized as the young man who prank called Shedeur Sanders and potentially Tyler Warren during the NFL Draft over the weekend. This follows the emergence of a video showing Sanders receiving a prank call amid his significant draft decline on social media, which left many fans upset.

In a statement, the Atlanta Falcons verified that Ulbrich was the one who made the call. The 21-year-old is the offspring of the team's defensive coordinator, Jeff Ulbrich.

He ‘accidentally discovered the draft contact phone number of Shedeur Sanders on an open iPad while visiting his parents' residence and wrote the number down to later perform a prank call,’ the statement noted.

“Jeff Ulbrich was not aware of the data breach or any aspects of the prank and was informed of the situation only afterward. The Atlanta Falcons do not support this behavior and extend our sincere apologies to Shedeur Sanders and his family, whom we have reached out to apologize to, as well as facilitate an apology directly from Jax to the Sanders family,” the Falcons added.

The Atlanta Falcons mentioned that they have been in communication with the NFL and will assist with any investigations. It is uncertain what measures will be taken.

“We are comprehensively reviewing all protocols, and making updates if required, to help prevent a situation like this from occurring again. ”

Who is Jax Ulbrich?

Jax Ulbrich is the son of Jeff Ulbrich, the defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons and a former NFL linebacker. Jax is a student-athlete at Berry College, where he plays running back for the football team, sporting jersey number 20. A native of New Jersey, he is majoring in business and has a passion for golfing. Jax is one of three children of Jeff and Cristina Ulbrich, along with his sister Samantha and brother Jace.
