CCL 2025 match schedule of February 22 and 23 in Surat

On February 22, the Lalabhai Contractor Stadium in Surat will host two matches featuring the Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Chennai Rhinos, Punjab De Sher, and Karnataka Bulldozers. The first match is scheduled for 2 PM, where the Bhojpuri Dabanggs will face off against the Chennai Rhinos. Both teams have secured only one victory thus far. The Dabanggs started strong with an initial win but subsequently suffered two consecutive losses, while the Rhinos experienced the opposite, which may boost their morale as they head into the match in Surat.

Later, at 6:30 PM (ETA), the Karnataka Bulldozers will take on Punjab De Sher. The latter team is coming off a victory against the Dabanggs in Week 2 in Cuttack. Led by Kiccha Sudeep, the Bulldozers will aim to maintain their unbeaten streak as they approach the semi-finals. However, Harrdy Sandhu’s team, considered newcomers, has demonstrated their competitive spirit. The question remains: can they outmanoeuvre the Bulldozers, who are currently in exceptional form?

On February 23, the Telugu Warriors, Bengal Tigers, Mumbai Heroes, and Punjab De Sher will compete in the final set of group stage matches. The opening match features the defending champions facing off against Akhil Akkineni’s Warriors, who are still reeling from their unexpected loss to the Rhinos in Hyderabad. Last year, the Warriors, who were the reigning champions, did not advance to the playoffs, and Akhil is keen to prevent a similar outcome this time. Currently, the situation hinges on the net run-rate. The match between the Telugu Warriors and Bengal Tigers is scheduled for 2 PM.

In the day's concluding match, Punjab De Sher will once again take the field against the Mumbai Heroes. Although the match is slated to commence at 6:30 PM, based on recent scheduling trends, it is likely to start closer to 7:30 PM.
