David Warner had a major outburst on social media following a significant flight delay. He claimed that he got on an Air India flight, only to find out there was no pilot, causing a long wait.

Warner expressed his frustration on X, previously known as Twitter, directing his anger at Air India. He posted, “@airindia we’re on a plane with no pilots and have been stuck here for hours. Why would you let passengers board when there’s no pilot for the flight?”

Air India reacted to Warner's post by attributing the issue to the weather. However, they didn't address Warner's concern about the boarding process when the pilot was absent.

In their response, Air India stated, “Dear Mr. Warner, the difficult weather conditions in Bengaluru today resulted in diversions and delays for all airlines. The crew for your flight was delayed due to an earlier assignment impacted by these issues, which caused the departure to be postponed. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for flying with us.”

Warner didn't get picked in the IPL 2025 auction held in Jeddah last year, so he won't be participating this season. However, he has joined the Karachi Kings for the Pakistan Super League, which is set to take place from April 11 to May 18.

As the most successful overseas batter in IPL history, Warner has scored over 6,000 runs and has won the Orange Cap three times. He started his IPL journey with the Delhi Daredevils in 2009 and played there until 2013. In the 2014 auction, he switched to SRH, where he became the team captain in 2015. That season, he was the top run-scorer and led the team to victory the following year, defeating Virat Kohli’s RCB in the final.

In 2020, Warner took over as SRH captain from Kane Williamson. During the 2022 auction, DC acquired him for ₹5.5 crores, and he stepped up as captain again in 2023 after Rishabh Pant got injured. He ended the season as the team's leading run-scorer with 516 runs.
