Many fans consider Cristiano Ronaldo the greatest footballer of all time, and he's currently playing for Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League. However, it seems his son is more into Kylian Mbappe, the current star of Real Madrid, than his dad.

In a chat with La Sexta, Ronaldo shared, “Mateo really likes Mbappe. He sometimes says to me, ‘Hey dad, Mbappe is better than you,’ and I just tell him, ‘No way, I’m better. I’ve scored more goals.’”

Throughout his amazing career, Ronaldo has snagged five Ballon d'Or awards, four European Golden Shoes, and a record three UEFA Men’s Player of the Year titles. He’s also been named FIFA’s best player five times, the most for any European player.

Ronaldo has racked up 33 trophies, including seven league titles, Euro 2016, five Champions League titles, and a Nations League title. He holds the record for the most Champions League appearances at 183, along with the most goals (140) and assists (42) in the competition. In the European Championship, he leads with the most appearances (30), assists (8), and goals (8). Plus, he’s the all-time top scorer in international football with 135 goals, ahead of Lionel Messi, who has 112.

He recently chatted with the Saudi Pro League’s official site about his goals for Al Nassr. “Competing against teams like Al Hilal and Al Ittihad is tough, but we’re still in the game, still fighting. Football has its ups and downs. For me, the key is to stay professional, work hard, honor the club and my contract, and believe that things will turn around – we want Al Nassr to snag more titles. Winning the [AFC] Champions League is definitely on my wishlist for the club. But above all, it’s about keeping that professional attitude and pushing forward,” he shared.

Since he joined Al Nassr, he hasn’t clinched the league title yet, but he did secure the Arab Champions Cup. He was also part of Portugal’s squad for Euro 2024 and is gearing up for the 2026 World Cup.
