In slightly more than a month and a half, your beloved stars will once again grace the cricket fields. The 11th season of the highly anticipated Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is set to commence, offering four weekends filled with exhilarating sporting events. Eight teams—Mumbai Heroes, Telugu Warriors, Karnataka Bulldozers, Chennai Rhinos, Punjab De Sher, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Bengal Tigers, and Kerala Strikers—will compete in 16 group stage matches, with the top four teams advancing to the semi-finals.

Experiencing the excitement of witnessing celebrities engage in a live cricket match at a stadium is unparalleled, especially as this season's games are being held at various locations throughout India. If attending in person for an enjoyable evening of T20 cricket is not feasible, yet you wish to view the matches, we will provide you with information on where you can watch them at no charge.

The 2024 edition marked a collaboration between CCL and JioCinema, enabling the live streaming of all matches on the platform with Hindi commentary. The CCL 2025 season will also be available on this platform. Additionally, strategic alliances have been formed with various television channels to ensure that matches reach audiences across different regions of the country. For example, Star Suvarna will broadcast all matches involving the Karnataka Bulldozers with commentary in Kannada, while Star Vijay Super will cover all matches of the Chennai Rhinos, among others. A comprehensive list of broadcast partners will be revealed soon.

Celebrity Cricket League – a retrospective look.

Established in 2011 by entrepreneur Vishnu Vardhan Induri, CCL initially featured four teams, which later expanded to eight. The Chennai Rinos, captained by Arya, secured victories in the first two seasons, defeating Kiccha Sudeep’s Karnataka Bulldozers on both occasions. In the third season, Sudeep led his team to triumph and successfully defended their title the following year. Season five marked the rise of the Telugu Warriors, who dominated by winning three consecutive editions. However, subsequent years were affected by weather-related issues and a pandemic. In 2023, the Telugu Warriors, under the leadership of Akhil Akkineni, reclaimed their dominance, but this was interrupted in 2024 when Jisshu Sengupta’s Bengal Tigers clinched the prestigious cup.
